The ITALIAN CENTER OF PHOTOGRAPHY COPYRIGHT (CIFA) of Bibbiena (AR), a body created by the will of FIAF - the historic Italian Federation of Photographic Associations kind after the war - is 10 years old and has a rich program of festivities from a large photo exhibition by Giovanni Gastel, a book dedicated to the author and published by FIAF and an exhibition of photographs of scenes unpublished taken by Paul Ronald Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Opened May 28, 2005 in the beautiful setting of the former district prison of Bibbiena (AR), restored and converted into an exhibition with the original 16 detention cells, the Italian Center of Fine Art Photography is born with the aim of setting up a kind of a link between "Who has done, who does it and who will make the history of Italian photography", between the need to preserve a photographic heritage otherwise destined to disperse and the desire to keep up with the times imposed by the new technological standards. Since the first exhibition of the future programmatic activities of the Centre have taken place more than 40 exhibitions and events, which have made the structure bibbienese one of the centers of reference for photography enthusiasts.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the Italian Center of Fine Art Photography A full program of cultural events, presented this morning in the Palace of the Province by the President of the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations Roberto Rossi, the President of the Province Roberto Vasai and the Deputy Mayor and Councillor Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Bibbiena Francesca Nassini.
At its peak the initiatives the exhibition "The poetic irony" of Giovanni Gastel, one of the photographers who gave a significant mark on the advertising photography and fashion, contributing with his inventiveness to the success of ready-to-wear Italian. The exhibition is curated by Giovanna Calvenzi and Claudio Pastrone and has, in more than 150 Polaroid 20x25 cm, a significant panorama of the work of the great fashion and advertising photographer and his unmistakable style, characterized by a poetic irony, from a balanced composition that is born by his passion for art and a constant reference to an ideal of elegance, that the author has breathed since childhood. The exhibition opening is scheduled for June 13 to 18 at the headquarters of the Italian Center of Fine Art Photography in Via delle Monache 2 Bibbiena (AR). There will be Giovanni Gastel. The exhibition will remain open until September 6. Free entry.

Book of the series FIAF Great Authors of photography Contemporary dedicated to Giovanni Gastel, who besides collecting eighty images of Milanese photographer, offers readers a pleasant autobiographical testimony of that Giovanni Gastel curated by Giovanna Calvenzi.

Exhibition "The ricotta Pier Paolo Pasolini" by Paul Ronald, one of the most respected photographers of scene of Italian cinema who has worked with almost all the major directors. The exhibition is a tribute not only to the famous photographer who died in 2015, Pier Paolo Pasolini 40 years after his tragic death. Edited by Antonio Maraldi, director of the Center Cinema City of Cesena, it offers world premiere 45 photographs from negatives taken during the filming of La Ricotta, episode directed by Pasolini's film Ro.Go.Pa.G. 1963. The exhibition opening is scheduled for June 14 to 11 at Ex Lanificio Berti, Pratovecchio (AR), Via Fiorentina 15. The exhibition will remain open until September 6. Free entry.

Extraction of photographs Author. The extraction is giving away photographs of many authors who have exhibited at the CIFA in these 10 years including Enrico Genovesi, Pierluigi Rizzato, Vasco Ascolini, Alessandra Capodacqua, Antonella Monzoni, Antonio Presta, Antonio Manta, Beppe Bolchi, Cesare Colombo, Davide Mengacci, Elio Ciol, Enzo Cei, Ernesto Fantozzi, Fabrizio Tempesti, Francesco Zizola, Francesco Francaviglia, Marco Rigamonti, Marina Alessi, Ingrosso Mario, Mario Cresci, Maurizio Chelucci, Michele Ghigo, Nino Migliori, Paola Agosti, Piergiorgio Branzi, Pietro Masturzo, Raoul Iacometti, Toni Thorimbert, Uliano Lucas. For every ticket purchased on the shop fiaf (http://shop.fiaf.net), it will be combined with a photograph. The extraction of the tickets, however, everybody wins, will be made on June 13 to 18 at the headquarters of the Italian Center of Fine Art Photography in Via delle Monache 2 Bibbiena (AR).
