SATURDAY CIVITELLA BACK TO THE BIENNIAL SCULPTURE WITH A STAFF OF PAINTINGS BY GUSTAVO GIULIETTI
Civitella in Val di Chiana in these days is enriching its streets and squares with the sculptures placed in the twentieth edition of the Biennale of Sculpture "(S) objectively. Modern Art for an old country "which opens Saturday, June 20 at 16:30. The exhibition will remain open until July 20. Many interesting and, as usual, the exhibitors: Enrico Bandelli, Pietro Bartolini, Claudia Chianucci, Giuseppe Gavazzi, Emanuele Giannetti, Maurizio Masini, John Groves, Sandro Ricci, Andrea Roggi, Fulvio Ticciati and Massimo Villani.
This year will enrich a sculpture exhibition of paintings by Gustavo Giulietti set in the former Church of the Company. L 'artist born in 1935 in Petralia Sotana (Sicily). Since 1953 he moved to Florence. After completing his studies he became the first professor of painting and then director of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. The artistic career of forty years has animated the Florentine figurative culture between 1962 and 2001. A great connoisseur of artistic techniques adopted so wise is the more traditional ones such as the fresco, intaglio printing and lithography materials is experimental art contemporary. Civitella continues its tradition and once again - said the Mayor Ginetta Menchetti - as a place of contemporary art emphasizing, as well, at the same time, artistic works of excellent quality and the enchanting medieval town that is home. The implementation of the initiative - continued the Mayor - was made possible thanks to the active participation of the Pro Loco of Civitella and particularly to the passion and always valuable and established collaboration Dino Tiezzi whom I thank.
